Aquatics Office
Management can be found at the Aquatics Office near the Competition Pool when in WildWater and near the Upper Deck area when in the Indoor Pool. Management duties sometimes require constant movement throughout the property, so questions can always be directed to swim@cprst.org.

WildWater gladly supports fundraisers for non-profit organizations with donations of two (2) one-day admission tickets as raffle, silent auction, or auction items. Please submit your information as follows for consideration:

Swim Lesson Levels
Level 1 (BubbIes): An introduction to water. Children will learn to be comfortable in the water, while also learning water safety. Introduce blowing bubbles, basic kicking and "paddling."
Level 2 (Minnows): Children will build on "Bubbles" level 1 while also learning more water safety, voluntarily go underwater, breath control, bubbles out of mouth and nose, front and back float with limited or no assistance.
Level 3 (Fish): Children will learn to increase the distance of swimming unassisted, treading water, dive into deep water, underwater skills, and to breathe while swimming.
Level 4 (Dolphins): Children will learn stroke technique, back stroke arms, increase distance, surface dives, breaststroke and butterfly.
FAQs
ALCOHOL: Is alcohol sold at WildWater?
Breakers provides alcohol sales within the park. No outside alcohol is permitted. Anyone attempting to purchase alcoholic beverages must be at least 21 years of age and are required to show a valid I.D. A valid I.D. contains a photo and birthdate of the Guest. Acceptable forms of ID include the following:
1. A valid driver's license of any state.
2. A valid Military ID with photo and birthday on ID.
3. A valid passport.
We reserve the right not to serve to anyone who is obviously intoxicated.
BIRTHDAYS: Can birthday parties be hosted at WildWater?
Yes! We would love for you to celebrate at WildWater. You may book a pavilion or a Cabana on our Book a Party page under the Reservations tab of our website.
CABANAS: Are cabanas available?
Yes! Cabanas are available for rent during your visit. A cabana rental adds relaxation and luxury to your visit at WildWater. Our cabanas can close on three sides - giving you privacy when you need it. With a maximum occupancy of 8, Cabanas are a great option for small groups. Book Now to reserve a cabana for your visit!

Yes! WildWater has several options for concessions. Oasis Bistro, The Gully, Iceberg, and Breakers are all onsite at the water park. Learn more about each of these concession options on our Dining and Beverages page under our Things to Do tab.

LIFEGUARDS: Will there be lifeguards on duty?
Lifeguards and Team Members are here for your safety and must be always obeyed. Violations of rules are subject to the revocation of swimming privileges.
Our Lifeguards are present for Emergency Response and Safety Enforcement. They monitor the pools by an American Red Cross scanning technique. Your assistance in watching your children is greatly appreciated.
LOCKERS: Are Lockers available for rent?
Lockers are available for rent to the right of the Front Gate. We have Small, Medium and Large Lockers that can be rented from the Kiosk located in front of the lockers. Wristbands are used to access lockers and up to 4 Guests can use the same locker.
MINORS: What is the age where a parent needs to accompany their child?
Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents are responsible for their children at all times. Children who cannot swim unassisted, must always be within an arm’s reach of a parent or guardian. If you are perceived to be under 16, you may be required to present ID stating your age.
OUTSIDE FOOD/DRINKS: Can outside food or drinks be brought in?
No, outside food or drinks are not allowed into the water park. Concessions are available onsite.
PAYMENT TYPES: What type of payment methods do you accept?
In order to speed up transaction times and deliver the best experience possible, all Ticket Booths, Restaurants and Retail locations now accept credit cards only. To save time, we recommend bringing a credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other digital forms of payment. Don’t have a card with you? NO PROBLEM! We have a convenient Cash To Card Kiosk that easily converts your cash directly onto a FREE Visa that can be used anywhere in the park, AND anywhere Visa is accepted! We are always looking for ways to make your experience even better, and this is no exception! It’s super EASY! / No need to handle WET or DIRTY cash! / FASTER service means more time for FUN!

RE-ENTRY: Can I leave the park and go to my car?
Park Re-Entry is allowed through our Re-Entry gate. Please make sure you have a valid wristband to re-enter.
SEASON PASSES: What do Season Passes Include?
Season Passes allow unlimited admission to one individual, during the issued season and discounts on in-park Purchases.
Season Passes are per person, non-transferable, and are the same price for age 3 and up. Family Passes are not available.
Season Pass Wristbands will be issued at the park and Season Pass Replacement Fee: $10 (2 free forgotten passes are given)

TICKETS/PASSES: Where do I purchase Tickets/Passes?
Daily Tickets/Passes may be purchased online through the Buy Tickets link on our homepage. Tickets may also be purchased onsite on a first-come, first-served basis. Entrance is not guaranteed for onsite purchases if park is at capacity.
WEATHER: What happens if there is Bad Weather?
Under threatening weather conditions, the pool area and water slides will be cleared for at least 30 minutes and will reopen as soon as safely possible. If conditions persist, the facility will close until safe conditions return. No refunds or rainchecks are offered.
Rules & Policies
Camera/Photo Policy:
-Guests are welcome to take pictures of themselves, their friends and family, their group, and the scenery in general, for their own personal use. However, NO cameras of any kind (including cell phones) are allowed on any ride or attraction, because such items pose a safety hazard.
-The Park at all times reserves the right to video and take still images of patrons, and to utilize those images and videos for any reason, including marketing, advertising, promotion, on social media, live streaming on the Internet, for safety and security, for documentation as evidence in a legal or criminal matter or other investigation, for news reporting, and otherwise in an unrestricted manner for legitimate purposes. All property ownership of such materials, and copyright in and to all such materials, shall belong exclusively to Park in perpetuity, without any compensation or other consideration to any guest or other person in, on or around the Park property.
-Commercial photography of any kind is strictly prohibited except where prior, written permission has been obtained from Cullman Park and Recreation’s Executive Director in the form of a contract signed by an executive within Park’s corporate office.
-No one is permitted to take photographs of others who object, or which violate another’s privacy, rights to publicity, or which are harassing, stalking, or threatening.
-Image taking or recording is strictly prohibited, under all circumstances, in bathrooms, changing rooms, and locker areas; violators may be held for law enforcement, and are subject to arrest and prosecution.
Dress Code Policy:
- We do not allow clothing generally considered offensive. Profanity, obscene gestures, obscene statements, pictures of illegal substances, all gang related items or clothing, sexually or racially offensive content and any other clothing deemed indecent by Management, will not be allowed. WildWater reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone who refuses to comply with the Dress Code Policy.
In order to enter WildWater:
- Shirts & Shorts are optional, as long as the Guest is properly covered.
- No revealing, offensive or overly suggestive swimwear. Swimwear must be of a conservative nature. No Thongs.
-In order to enjoy the attractions at WildWater:
-Proper swimwear is required (No Street Clothing/Cutoffs). Swimwear with zippers, buckles, rivets, metal, or denim attire are not permitted on slides.
- Swim Diapers are required for all diaper dependent Guests.
-In order to ride the waterslides at WildWater:
-Eyeglasses/Goggles must be affixed with a strap or held in the Guest’s hand.
-No Excessive Jewelry.
-No Lifejackets or Arm Floats.
-No Shoes (Including Aqua Shoes).
Guest Accessibility Policy:
- Each water attraction, slide or pool has specific requirements for participation, which may include apparel, height, weight & size restrictions.
- Riders may be required to remove medical devices, including half or full-length orthotics, braces, crutches, canes, prosthetics and any other type of medical assistance device that is not permanently affixed to the rider’s body. Riders with affixed medical devices may be prohibited from certain rides (e.g., a cast, or a back brace).
- Our goal is to accommodate our Guests with disabilities to the fullest extent possible and in compliance with the law. Most of our attractions and restaurants are accessible to guests with disabilities, including, among others, those using wheelchairs. While the Park complies with federal and state disability and accommodation laws, there may be some rides or attractions, activities, or areas of the park, which may not be safely accessible to all persons.

Loose/Lost Article Policy:
- Loose Articles are not permitted on our attractions. This Includes: Cell Phones, Hats, Glasses, Cameras, Backpacks, Etc. We will not be responsible for Lost, Stolen or Damaged Property.
-These items may be left in a locker, your vehicle, or with a non-rider.
-Do not leave items unattended at dining tables.
-We do not save items such as clothing items, food & beverages, personal baby items (such as bottles, pacifiers and sippy cups), personal toiletry items, towels and hair accessories.
-Lost items may not be able to be retrieved during operating hours. Please stop by First Aid and fill out a Lost & Found Report. Guests may call or stop by to see if the item has been retrieved any time over the next 14 days. Items will be donated to charity 14 days after retrieval.
Restricted Item Policy:
- For the safety of all Guests, all bags will be inspected upon Entry/Re-Entry.
- No Outside Food, Drink or Glass Containers.
-If you have a Medical Exception, please see Management
-Baby Food is allowed, as long as it is not in a Glass Container
- No Smoking, Vaping, Chewing Tobacco or any other Tobacco Use.
- No Illegal Drugs or Substances
- No Weapons, (Including Guns, Knives, or any other Sharp Objects) Fireworks or Explosives
- No Personal inner tubes, large inflatables, or lifejackets that are not US Coast Guard Approved
- No Lounge Chairs, Tents, Personal Stereo or Speaker devices
- No Recreational Scooters, Skateboards, & Shoes with Wheels
- No Drones.
- All Animals, with the exception of Service Animals, are prohibited.
- Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents/Guardians are responsible for their children.
- Any item deemed by security or park management as restricted or dangerous.
Security Camera Policy:
-We use a variety of methods in securing the park including uniformed and plain clothes officers, and video surveillance monitoring. Access to surveillance footage is restricted for the privacy of our Guests & Team Members. These private surveillance videos are the property of the park and access may not be requested by Guests or Team Members.
Service Animal Policy:
- Pets are not allowed; however, Service Animals are welcome at WildWater.
- A service animal is defined as a dog or miniature pony that has been individually trained to perform tasks for a person with disabilities.
- We may ask you what task your service animal performs for you.
- Service animals must be controlled with a “restraining device” at all times while on our property.
- There is a limit of one service animal per guest.
- Due to the nature of our attractions, service animals must remain with a non-riding member of your party. We are not permitted to take control of your service animal. Service animals are not permitted in or on any attractions or pools.
- A relief area is located outside of the Front Gate near the Parking Lot. Please clean up after your animal.
Waterpark Entry Rules:
ATTENTION GUESTS
1. The following Rules & Instructions have been established for the benefit of all Guests to assure the safe operation of our pools and attractions. For your safety and enjoyment at our Park, please carefully read all of the text below. Failure to follow any of the Rules and Instructions set forth below may result in serious injury to yourself or other individuals. Individuals not following Park Rules and Instructions, will be subject to immediate ejection from the Park, without refund. All Guests participate at their own risk.
2. Read & obey all posted signs.
3. Obey all instruction/warnings given by Lifeguards & Attendants.
4. Our Lifeguards are present for emergency response and safety enforcement. They monitor the pools by an American Red Cross Scanning Technique. Your assistance in watching your children is greatly appreciated.
5. For your safety, our lifeguards participate in on-going training that includes the use of life-like mannequins as a simulation device during regular operating hours.
6. Guests are permitted to leave the park to retrieve forgotten items; however, WildWater reserves the right to limit re-entry if this policy is abused. Driving off the park premises and expecting re-entry is not permitted.
7. During Severe Weather conditions, all attractions will temporarily close until it is safe to reopen.
8. Ride and attraction availability are subject to change, delay or cancellation due to inclement weather, mechanical or safety reasons.
9. All ticket sales are final; no Refunds or Rainchecks are offered. All tickets expire at the end of the season in which they are issued. WildWater Tickets and Season Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable.

- Shirts & Shorts are optional, as long as the Guest is properly covered.
- No revealing, offensive or overly suggestive swimwear. Swimwear must be of a conservative nature. No Thongs.
GUEST ACCESSIBILITY
-Each water attraction, slide or pool has specific requirements for participation, which may include apparel, height, weight & size restrictions.
-Riders may be required to remove medical devices, including half or full-length orthotics, braces, crutches, canes, prosthetics and any other type of medical assistance device that is not permanently affixed to the rider’s body. Riders with affixed medical devices may be prohibited from certain rides (e.g., a cast, or a back brace).
-Our goal is to accommodate our Guests with disabilities to the fullest extent possible and in compliance with the law. Most of our attractions and restaurants are accessible to guests with disabilities, including, among others, those using wheelchairs. While the Park complies with federal and state disability and accommodation laws, there may be some rides or attractions, activities, or areas of the Park, which may not be safely accessible to all persons.
GUEST BEHAVIOR
-Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents/Guardians are responsible for their children.
-Children who cannot swim unassisted must be within an arm’s reach of a Supervising Companion.
-No Running, Pushing, Horseplay, Foul Language or Unnecessary Splashing.
-Stay on designated pathways, exercise caution when going up or down stairs/unlevel surfaces, and refrain from entering any landscaped areas.
RESTRICTED ITEMS
-No Outside Food, Drink or Glass Containers.
-If you have a Medical Exception, please see Management
-Baby Food is allowed, as long as it is not in a Glass Container
-No Smoking, Vaping, Chewing Tobacco or any other Tobacco Use.
-No Illegal Drugs or Substances
-No Weapons, (Including Guns, Knives, or any other Sharp Objects) Fireworks or Explosives
-No Personal inner tubes, large inflatables, or lifejackets that are not US Coast Guard Approved
-No Lounge Chairs, Tents, Personal Stereo or Speaker devices
-No Recreational Scooters, Skateboards, & Shoes with Wheels
-No Drones.
-All animals, with the exception of Service Animals, are prohibited.
All Attraction Rules:
1. There are inherent risks in the participation in or on any amusement ride, device or attraction. Guests have a duty to exercise good judgment and act in a responsible manner while participating on the amusement ride, device or attraction and to obey all oral and/or written warnings. For your safety, you should be in good health to participate. Only you know your physical conditions or limitations. If you suspect your health could be at risk for any reason, or you believe you could aggravate a pre-existing condition of any kind, DO NOT PARTICIPATE. THE PARK DOES NOT, AND CANNOT, GUARANTEE YOUR HEALTH, AND YOU FULLY ASSUME ALL RISKS OF ANY PARK RIDE OR ACTIVITY IN WHICH YOU CHOOSE TO PARTICIPATE.
2. As a rider, you are responsible for your own safety. Listen to and follow all operator instructions. Patrons also have a duty to properly use all ride or attraction safety equipment provided. Any person who intentionally alters the recommended riding position, violates a park safety policy, or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or chemical intoxicants will be removed from the park without refund. Ride at your own risk.
3. NO: Recent Surgery or Illness / Heart or Nerve Conditions / Neck, Back or Bone Ailments / Pregnancy / High Blood Pressure or Aneurisms / Under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol
4. Obey all instructions given by Attendants & Operators. Failure to follow rules and instructions may result in injury to yourself and/or others.
5. Proper swimwear is required (No Street Clothing/Cutoffs). Swimwear with zippers, buckles, rivets, metal, or denim attire are not permitted on slides.
6. Swim Diapers are required for all diaper dependent Guests.
7. Loose Articles are not permitted on our attractions. This Includes: Cell Phones, Hats, Glasses, Cameras, Backpacks, Etc. We will not be responsible for Lost, Stolen or Damaged Property.
8. Eating, drinking, smoking, chewing gum & candy are prohibited on all attractions/pools/ledges.
9. No Line Jumping (including leaving and returning to a line for any reason).
10. Guests shall not drop or throw items from any attraction.
CDC Rules:
-Guests who have experienced a stomach and/or intestinal illness within the past 2 weeks may not participate in any water park attraction.
-Do Not swim if you or your child is sick with diarrhea.
-Shower for at least 1 minute before getting into the water.
-Guests with open wounds, skin lacerations, blisters or infections may not participate in any water park attraction.
-Diaper dependent persons must wear approved, Swim Diapers in all water park attractions.
-Take children on frequent bathroom breaks, and check diapers every hour.
-Change diapers at diaper changing stations in restrooms only. Do Not change diapers at poolside.
-Do Not pee or poop in the water.
-Do Not swallow the water.
Waiver & Terms
WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT FOR CITY OF CULLMAN AND CITY OF CULLMAN PARKS, RECREATION AND SPORTS TOURISM.
WARNING: READ CAREFULLY. THIS AGREEMENT INCLUDES A WAIVER OF LEGAL RIGHTS AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT AND DEPRIVES YOU OF THE RIGHT TO SUE THE CITY OF CULLMAN AND CITY OF CULLMAN PARKS, RECREATION AND SPORTS TOURISM AND OTHER PARTIES. DO NOT SIGN THIS AGREEMENT UNLESS YOU HAVE READ IT IN ITS ENTIRETY. SEEK THE ADVICE OF LEGAL COUNSEL IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF THIS LEGAL DOCUMENT’S CONSEQUENCE.
IN CONSIDERATION of the City of Cullman and City of Cullman Parks, Recreation, and Sports Tourism, who owns and operates numerous properties and facilities for the use and benefit of the public, hereinafter referred to as “Facilities”, allowing me to participate in any activity which includes without limitation, the water park located at the Cullman Wellness and Aquatic Center known as WildWater water park, splash pads, picnicking, swimming, nature study, use of tents/cabanas, use of recreational equipment, gymnastics/water aerobics, dancing, sightseeing, exercising, sporting event, climbing, or spectator activity, I, for myself, and on behalf of my spouse, children, parents, guardians, heirs and next of kin, and any legal and personal representative, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns, do hereby agree to and make the following contractual representations pursuant to this Waiver and Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement, hereinafter referred to as “Agreement”;
1. I hereby represent that (i) I am in good health and in proper physical condition to participate in the activities in which the Facilities provide; and (ii) I am not under the influence of alcohol or any illicit or prescription drugs which would in any way impair my ability to safely participate in activities; (iii) I have not been advised against activities by a health professional. I agree that it is my sole responsibility to determine whether I am sufficiently fit and healthy enough to participate in activities.
2. I understand and acknowledge the physical and mental rigors associated with the activities in which the Facilities provide and realize that such activities are inherently dangerous and represent an extreme test of a person’s physical and mental limits. I understand that participation involves risks and dangers which include, without limitation the potential for serious bodily injury, sickness and disease, permanent disability, paralysis and loss of life; loss of or damage to equipment/property; exposure to extreme conditions and circumstances; accidents, contact or collision with other participants, spectators, vehicles or other natural or manmade objects; dangers arising from adverse weather conditions; imperfect ground conditions; water, road and surface hazards; equipment failure, inadequate safety measures; participants of varying skill levels; situation beyond the immediate control of the Facilities; disease and drowning and problems related to near drowning; fractures and punctures, vehicle accidents, lightning, briars and thorns; partial or total paralysis, explosions, snakebites, heart attack; eye injury including blindness, heat stroke, cuts and infection, strains; Cleaning solvents and other chemicals, falling limbs or trees; insect bites and bee stings, contaminated water; equipment malfunction, failure or lack of safety equipment; actions of myself, other players, judges, referees, or others; illness or injuries in remote places without medical facilities Failure or lack of communications equipment Problems or hazards related to consumption of alcohol or drugs Ejections and falls from slides or other equipment; collisions on slides or other equipment; and other undefined risks and dangers which may not be readily foreseeable or are presently unknown. I understand that these Risks may be caused in whole or in part by my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of other participating in activities, or the acts, inaction or negligence of the Released Parties defined below, and I hereby expressly assume all such Risks and responsibility for any damage, liabilities, losses or expenses which I incur as a result of my participation in activities.
3. I agree to be familiar with and to abide by the Rules, Regulations, and laws established for the activities, which include without limitation the rules of operation and warning guidelines of equipment used in said activities, park rules and warnings, and local, state, and federal laws. I also accept sole responsibility for my own conduct and actions while participating in the activities, and the condition and adequacy of my equipment.
4. I hereby grant full permission to the Facilities and/or any and all agents authorized by them to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recording and any other record of activity or events for any legitimate purpose.
5. I hereby Release, Waive, and Covenant Not to Sue, and further agree to Indemnify, Defend and Hold Harmless the following parties: City of Cullman, City of Cullman Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism, their Insurers, Promoters, Directors, Employees, Attorneys, Sponsors, Advertisers, Law Enforcement Agencies and other Public Entities providing support for the activities, and each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, officers, the Mayor, council members, board members, directors, partners, shareholders, members, agents, employees, representatives, and volunteers (Individually and Collectively, the “Released Parties”), with respect to any liability, claim(s), demand(s), cause(s) of action, damage(s), loss or expense (including court costs and attorneys fees) of any kind or nature (“Liability”) which may rise out of, or relate to my participation in the activities, including claims for Liability caused in whole or in part by the negligence, wantonness or other alleged misconduct of the Released Parties. I further agree that if, despite this Agreement, I, or anyone on my behalf, makes a claim for Liability against any of the Released Parties, I will indemnify, defend and hold harmless each of the Released Parties from any such Liability which any may be incurred as a result of such claim. I further agree to defend indemnify and hold the released parties harmless from any lawsuits or claims of any liability whatsoever against the released parties by any other due to any action, inaction or omission made by me or my minor child. I understand that I will be responsible for financial payment or reimbursement to any of the released parties for any reasonable attorney’s fees, expenses, or court costs incurred by any of the released parties due to any action, inaction or omission made by me or my minor child which results in any lawsuit or claim of liability of any nature against any of the released parties.
6. I hereby warrant that I have read this Agreement carefully, understand its terms and conditions, acknowledge that I will be giving up substantial legal rights by signing it (including the rights of the minor, my spouse, children, parents, guardians, heirs and next of kin, and any legal and personal representatives, executors, administrators, successors and assigns), acknowledge that I have signed this Agreement freely and voluntarily, without any inducement, assurance or guarantee, and intend for my signature to serve as confirmation of my complete and unconditional acceptance of the terms, conditions and provisions of this Agreement. This Agreement represents the complete understanding between the parties regarding these issues and no oral representations, statements or inducements have been made apart from this Agreement. My signature is relied on by the Released Parties for the engagement in activities at any venue owned or operated by the released parties. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this Agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. This Agreement is intended to be as broad as Alabama laws allow.
7. Choice of Venue and Law. Any dispute arising from the interpretation or attempted enforcement of this legal document shall be litigated in the state courts of Cullman County, Alabama. This document shall be interpreted and enforced pursuant to Alabama law.
This Waiver of Legal Rights and Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement is in effect from the date of signing and is continuing in nature.
Parental Consent (required if the participant is less than 19 years of age) As the Parent and/or Legal Guardian to the minor identified above, I hereby accept and agree to all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement on behalf of the minor in connection with the minor’s participation in the Activities. If, despite this Agreement, I, or anyone on the minor’s behalf, makes a claim for Liability against any of the Released Parties, I will indemnify, defend and hold harmless each of the Released Parties from any such Liabilities which any may be incurred as the result of such claim. I further certify, covenant and warrant that the signature below as Parent and/or Legal Guardian certifies that I am the Parent and/or Legal guardian of the minor and/or have the legal authority to act on behalf and enter into this Agreement for the minor and bind the minor to its terms. I acknowledge that I am signing this Agreement individually and on behalf of the minor and the Parent and/or Legal Guardian and the minor both agree to the terms hereof.
